Have you heard? The new KidzWorld at Singapore Zoo is now open! We love the colourful multi-sensory outdoor playground with slides, a sheltered sand pit, musical flowers and sunken trampolines. The air-conditioned petting zoo is a spacious place where kids can pet rabbits, cats and friendly rescue dogs. KidzWorld also has an interactive phygital learning experience that creates more exciting opportunities for kids to learn about the animal world through the Ranger Buddies Quest. There are also new interactive animal shows where kids can join the animals on stage and learn how to teach them tricks. We’re sad that that water playground is no longer here, but kids can cool off from the heat at an ever-changing water fountain maze. Just be sure to bring swimsuits and a change of clothes! Check out our kid-friendly guide to plan your next trip to the Singapore Zoo!

Having lived in eight countries since she was two, Cherilyn considers herself a citizen of the world. She’s a Singaporean but has only lived here for 3 years of her childhood. She writes during the day and likes to unwind in the evening with a good workout, Netflix, and some quality time with her husband, all the while trying to keep up with her two active little ones. She’s never lived in a city for more than four years but is hoping that she can call Singapore home for a while.
