There’s no question about it; “Made in the U.S.A.” is resonating with consumers when it comes to pet products. With national economic interests in mind, manufacturers and retailers are noticing more pet parents switch over to American-made products. Many pet brands have responded to the growing market demands for “Made in the U.S.A.”
Dr. Joe Roetheli founded Greenies, which quickly became the No. 1 selling pet treat in America. He’s re-entered the pet treat category with Yummy Combs, which he conceived to specifically address some key safety issues of dogs. He also made sure that his innovative dental treat is made in the U.S.
“Made in American is always a big hit, especially after the past four years,” said Roetheli, CEO of Pet’s Best Life, maker of Yummy Combs. “We returned from Global Pet Expo with two dozen importers wanting another great American dog treat.”
A brand that entered the pet industry earlier this year is Montana Dog Food Co. Inspired by the way of life Montana offers pets and their owners, the brand recently launched its line of freeze-dried raw food and treats that are crafted with quality ingredients that include proteins raised in the West and Mountain West.
